Singing in the Assembly as a “Governed Practice”

This is Part 2 of a series on the goings on in the public assembly of the Church. In Part 1 a threefold distinction of pious practices was discussed. The first was “Free Practices” or true adiaphora, the second was “Commanded Practices” , and the third category is “governed practices” which are those things that God, in His Word, commands but does not prescribe the manner in which it is to be done.
